Marketing Letter Sender [TM] stores your letters in the Library of Letters. Each letter is entered once and only once into this Library. You can type these letters into the program or import from another source, such as a floppy disk or another subdirectory. Each letter can be up to 15,000 characters long. Within this Library, you can enter up to 99,999,999 different letters.
Independent of the Library of Letters is the definition of 'streams'. Each 'stream' can access any letter or combination of letters. Any one letter, in turn, can appear in any number of 'streams'.
Within any one 'stream,' you can have up to 99,999,999 letters in the sequence of letters. Within the file that contains the definitions of 'streams,' you can create up to 99,999,999 different streams.
Marketing Letter Sender [TM] merges and prints these letters without any further human intervention once you establish the pattern of letters each prospect is to receive. This version is network ready and mouse aware.
This self-contained, fully functional evaluation master is for those America Online downloaders who wish to evaluate the program for the first time. Once downloaded, this program will allow you to enter an unlimited number of records during your evaluation period. This version is LAN-ready and mouse aware. Registered users get a printed manual, a national zip code lookup file, and unlimited tech support. Registered users can also purchase an optional client-server or peer to peer network upgrade.
Note: After downloading, type MKT-X70 to extract files. Files will be extracted to \LETTER.ACS on the current drive (do not try to extract from/to floppy, it won't fit!). This path information is contained in the archive so you can't extract to another location. Type GO to run the install routine and then GO again to run the program once install is finished. Requires FILES=50, BUFFERS=15 in your CONFIG.SYS file.
